Harvesting

Harvesting missions allow players to earn HONEY, the in-game currency that can be used to strengthen their colony of Bees, play other games and activities, or converted into $HXD.

Overview

Players select the most optimal Land(s) to Harvest, select the Bee(s) from their hive to embark on the Harvesting mission(s), and deploy their Bee(s) on the Harvesting mission(s).
Each completed Harvesting mission will earn the player HONEY which will be returned to the Hive.
The amount of HONEY collected on each Harvesting mission and the time that it will take the Bee(s) to complete the mission will be determined by a number of factors like the agility and capacity of the Bee(s), any mission boosts, the competition on the Land, and any Land Items that are used on the Land during the mission.
Once the mission is complete and the Bee(s) has returned to the hive, the player can return to the game to claim their HONEY, which will then be added to their hive.

Cooldown

After each mission, the Bee(s) will have a cooldown period in which they are recovering for their next mission. The cooldown time will be determined by the Male Bee's recovery stats and can be reduced by having an active Queen Bee with a high generation.
Bees can receive a reduction in cooldown time on Harvesting, Hunting, or Attack missions based on the Generation of the Active Queen Bee in their hive during their cooldown. Cooldown reductions will be based on the following:
  • Genesis Queen Bee: 25% reduction in cooldown
  • First Generation Queen Bee: 15% reduction in cooldown
  • Second Generation Queen Bee: 8% reduction in cooldown
  • Third Generation Queen Bee: 0% reduction in cooldown
  • Z Generation Queen Bee: 0% reduction in cooldown
Once the cooldown period is done, the player can organize a new mission for their available Bees.

Selecting Land to Harvest

From the main Universe map, the player can choose to start a new Harvesting mission.
When selecting the Land to Harvest, the player can scan the Universe to see the traits of each plot of Land, such as landform, HONEY production speed, distance from the hive, Landowner commission rate, the total number of other Harvesting Bees present on the Land, and any Land Items that are currently affecting the Land.
Using this information, the player can select the Land(s) that will be best suited for their colony of Bees to yield the most HONEY in the shortest amount of time.
It is important to note that the stats shown for each Land will be a snapshot of the current conditions. However, stats like HONEY reserves, the total number of all Bees present on the Land, and any Land Items affecting the Land will change with every time frame, which will affect the outcome of each mission.
Since each universe will have thousands of plots of Land available for Harvesting, it may take a player hours to manually check the stats for each Land in the universe in which they would like to Harvest.
In order to make this easier for the player, they will be able to save their favorite Lands for easy recall.
Additionally, players can choose to use Sonar Buzz NFTs to quickly scan multiple Lands at a time for Lands that are optimal for Harvesting missions based on their current conditions.

Selecting a Bee for the Harvesting Mission

Once the Land(s) have been selected, the player will be able to see all the idle Bees in their hive so they can select which Bee(s) is going to Harvest that plot of Land.
When viewing the Bees in their hive, the player can see all the relevant stats for each Bee so they can make the best decisions. They can also filter and sort by each trait in order to make the selection process easier.
If a Bee is currently at the hive but is still in their cooldown period, they can see how much longer that Bee needs to cool down until they are available for a mission, but they cannot select that Bee for the current mission they are organizing.
The player can send a single Bee to Harvest a plot of Land or can send multiple Bees to the same Land. When sending multiple bees to the same Land, they may return at different times based on their agility and capacity. If the Bee has a Landform Specialty that matches the Landform of the Land they are going to, it will double the Agility of the Bee for that mission. Additionally, if any of the Bees going on the same mission share similar moods or likes with each other or their active Queen, it will create a mission boost for those Bees, which will decrease the time of the mission and/or increase the amount of Honey they will Harvest on the mission.
In other words, when sending multiple Bees to the same plot of Land at the same time, each Bee is essentially on its own mission, but they can all benefit from having Bees from their colony on the same mission if they share the same Mood or Likes with each other or the active Queen.
Based on this information, the player can assign any available Bees to any of the selected Lands. Once the player is happy with the Lands and Bees they’ve organized together, they can confirm the mission(s). Once confirmed, the missions will begin at the next time frame.

Mission Time/Game Play

Once a Bee is deployed on a Harvesting mission, the player can track the progress of each Bee on their mission by clicking the Activity option or visiting the Land from the Universe map.
If the player is sending an average Bee (capacity and agility) to a Land with average competition on the Land, the mission should take approximately four hours to bring the HONEY back to the hive.
Of course, missions can be much shorter or longer depending on the capacity and agility of the Bee(s), any mission boosts, the available HONEY and competition on the Land, whether or not any Land Items are used by them or other players during the mission, and the Generation of the Active Queen Bee in the Hive.
Once the Bee completes the mission, he will have an average of a two-hour cooldown period before he is ready to embark on a new mission. Bees with high recovery stats will be able to reduce this cooldown period so they can embark on new missions sooner. Additionally, players with an Active Queen Bee in their hive that is Genesis, First, or Second Generation will experience reduced cooldown times.

Claiming HONEY

Once a Bee returns to the hive from a mission, the HONEY collected, less the Land commission paid to the Landowner, will be available to be claimed by the player.
In order to claim the HONEY, the player must simply log into the game and click ‘Claim’ in their Rewards.
