There are four general types of Mission Assists to help you maximize your rewards: Sonar Buzz, Poison Bomb, and Cursed Honey Drop. Landowners have an additional Mission Assist: Mint Spray.
Sonar Buzz on Earth:
Sonar Buzz Helps You Pick which Land to Harvest or Hunt
Deploying Sonar Buzz makes the process of deciding which Lands to Harvest and Hunt easier by suggesting Lands to visit and providing you with a summary of the Land’s details.
Create a Sonar Buzz item by redeeming Sonar Buzz shards or purchase a Sonar Buzz item from the in-game Item Marketplace.
There are five different rarities of Sonar Buzz. The rarer the Sonar Buzz, the more Harvesting and Hunting suggestions you will receive and the longer it will last.
Sonar Buzz Rarity | Cost | Background | Active for | Harvest Suggestions | Hunting Suggestions |
Common | 20 shards | Green | 16 hours | 4 lands | 4 lands |
Rare | 40 shards | Blue | 36 hours | 5 lands | 6 lands |
Epic | 80 shards | Red | 56 hours | 6 lands | 8 lands |
Legendary | 150 shards | Yellow | 76 hours | 7 lands | 10 lands |
Mythic | 300 shards | Purple | 96 hours | 8 lands | 12 lands |
Once you have a Sonar Buzz item:
- Tap on the Inventory icon (It looks like a backpack, you will find it on the top right of your screen)
- Tap on the Sonar Buzz item you want to use
- Tap on the yellow "Use" button on the left side
Return to the Earth Universe screen:
- Tap the "Lands" icon in the bottom right corner
- Tap the "Sonar Buzz" tab
You will see your Sonar Buzz suggestions.
Poison Bomb on Earth:
Poison Bomb gives you a Harvesting advantage!
When you deploy a Poison Bomb it will decrease the Agility of Bees belonging to other players on that Land while leaving your Bees unaffected. This can speed up your Harvest.
When looking for a Land to Harvest, check to see if a Poison Bomb is already active on that Land. When another player deploys a Poison Bomb, it will be YOUR Bee’s Agility stat that is decreased! You might want to look for a different Land to Harvest.
Create a Poison Bomb item by redeeming Poison Bomb shards or purchase a Poison Bomb item from the in-game Item Marketplace.
There are five different rarities of Poison Bomb. The rarer the Poison Bomb, the larger the effect will be.
Poison Bomb Rarity | Cost | Background | Decreases the Agility of unowned Bees | Duration of reduction |
Common | 20 shards | Green | 10% | 6 hours |
Rare | 40 shards | Blue | 20% | 8 hours |
Epic | 80 shards | Red | 30% | 10 hours |
Legendary | 150 shards | Yellow | 40% | 12 hours |
Mythic | 300 shards | Purple | 50% | 14 hours |
Once you have a Poison Bomb item:
- Visit the Land you want to poison
- Tap on the "Use Item" icon on the right side of your screen - this will bring up your inventory
- Tap on the Poison Bomb icon to activate it
IMPORTANT - Rarer bombs cancel out less rare bombs
Let's look at an example:
Player A uses a Common Poison Bomb on a Land. The Bomb decreases the Agility of other player's Bees by 10% for 6 hours.
If player B then uses a Rare (or higher) Bomb, it will cancel the Bomb of player A and player B will have the advantage.
Cursed Honey Drop on Earth:
Cursed Honey Drop gives you a Hunting advantage!
When you deploy a Cursed Honey Drop it will decrease the Luck of Bees belonging to other players on that Land. This means your Bees are more likely to find that Honeypot first.
Create a Cursed Honey Drop item by redeeming Cursed Honey Drop shards or purchase a Cursed Honey Drop item from the in-game Item Marketplace.
There are five different rarities of Cursed Honey Drop. The rarer the Curse, the larger the effect will be.

Mythic | 300 shards | Purple | 50% | 14 hours |
When looking for a Land to Hunt, check to see if a Cursed Honey Drop is already active on that Land. When another player deploys a Cursed Honey Drop, it will be YOUR Bee’s Luck stat that is decreased! You might want to look for a different Land to Hunt.
Once you have a Cursed Honey Drop item:
- Visit the Land you want to curse
- Tap the "Use Item" icon on the right side of your screen - this will bring up your inventory
- Tap the Cursed Honey Drop icon to activate it
IMPORTANT - Rarer curses cancel out less rare curses
Let's look at an example:
Player A places a Common Cursed Honey Drop on a Land. The Curse decreases the Luck of other player's Bees by 10% for 6 hours.
If player B then places a Rare (or higher) Curse, it will cancel the Curse of player A and player B will have the advantage.
Paradise Makers on Earth:
Paradise Makers can only be used on Lands with normal climates.
When a Paradise Maker is active on a Land, it gives Harvesting Bees a 75% boost to their Agility Stat and Hunting Bees a 75% boost to their Luck Stat.
This boost applies to all active Bees on that Land regardless of the Bee’s Landform Specialty or who the owner is.
The rarer the Paradise Maker, the longer the boost will last.

When a Lantern is deployed on a Land with an extreme climate, it will decrease the Land’s Honeypot drop time for the entire time the Lantern is active. The decrease is available to every Bee regardless of the Bee’s Landform Speciality.
The rarer the Lantern, the more the drop time decreases and the longer the effect will last.
Example: Apply a Mythic Lantern to a Land with a 35 minute drop time
50% of 35 minutes = 17.5 minutes. Round down to the nearest 5 minute increment. New drop time is 15 minutes for the next 14 hours.
Note: If the current timer is below the new drop time, it will reset the timer based on the new drop time
Create Lantern items by redeeming Lantern shards or purchase a Lantern item from the in-game Item Marketplace.
